Acupuncture and Chinese medicine practitioner:
o The practitioner working in the clinic must wear a medical mask in the clinic.
o The practitioner must provide multiple hand sanitizers containing 70% alcohol conveniently accessible to patients at any time in all rooms (waiting room, treatment rooms and washroom room).
o The practitioner must wash his hands with soap and running tap water each time after touching his patient.
o The practitioner must disinfect any surfaces (like merchandise terminal machine, desk, coffee table, countertop, etc) touched by a patient before another patient can touch the surfaces.
o The practitioner must open a treatment room window for 3 to 5 minutes to let fresh air in after a patient leave the room.
o The practitioner must provide disinfected fresh sheets and covers to his patient.
o The practitioner must thoroughly mop the clinic floor with bleach at least once a week.
Patients and other personals:
o Patients must finish online Covid-19 self screening (https://bc.thrive.health/) on the appointment date or one day prior to the appointment, and email the result to the practitioner.
o No more than two patients are allowed entering and staying inside the clinic, and each patient must be designated to separate rooms, they are not allowed to share the same room.
o Patients must wear a medical mask when in the clinic, except when requested to remove their masks by the practitioner.
o A person accompanying a patient in the clinic must wear a medical mask.
